Called 'Byte', the upcoming platform was described by Hoffman as a 'looping video app' that he said would launch in Spring 2019.
Hoffman had first announced plans for a Vive follow-up last November, but the launch was postponed because of legal concerns and lack of funding.
In case you didn't know it already, Vine was a popular video-sharing service that allowed users to post six-second videos online. Twitter acquired the service in 2012, but shut it down in 2016.
